Working in freight forwarding is equally demanding for both women and men. At SWIDA Innovative, we provide equal opportunities to everyone, and we celebrate success regardless of gender. Today, we decided to give space to three women from the SWIDA team to share what they enjoy about working with us and how they feel as part of our young and dynamic team.

Janka
"I found myself in logistics. After returning from abroad, I wanted to continue actively working with foreign languages. SWIDA offers fair conditions, and a skilled person can build above-standard financial security for the future here.
It’s true that logistics and freight forwarding are industries dominated by men, but I actually see my position as an advantage because clients do not always make decisions purely rationally — sympathy and communication matter too.
Personally, what I enjoy the most is seeing my own development, building self-confidence, and stepping out of my comfort zone more easily. By improving my communication and negotiation skills, I can negotiate better conditions in many situations — even with my mobile operator. ;-)
I enjoy my work itself, but I enjoy my colleagues even more."
Evka
"Before joining SWIDA, I had a lot of respect for this type of work, especially because of the psychological pressure. I knew logistics never sleeps and that negotiations must be very fast and efficient.
Today, I wouldn’t trade this job for anything in the world. The dynamics are exactly what I enjoy the most. Every day is different — it’s never a stereotype.
I enjoy working with people and having daily contact with clients, which constantly brings new experiences and knowledge. I also see it as a great advantage that as a woman I can use not only my experience, but also intuition and empathy.
There were many situations where I took over communication from a colleague and the client reacted completely differently than expected based on previous notes. In several cases, the client sent me an order relatively quickly afterward. By the way, we are still successfully cooperating with those clients today."
Esty
"I worked abroad and wanted to return home while still using my foreign language skills. Working at SWIDA gave me exactly that opportunity.
I enjoy that every day is different. Working in our team is dynamic and interesting, and I also highly appreciate the flexible working hours.
Every day, we successfully manage dozens of shipments for our clients, and in some cases, I can also successfully use my feminine strengths."
At SWIDA, we give opportunities to talent. It doesn’t matter whether you are a woman or a man — we are one team, and it is exactly this diversity that makes us a successful company constantly moving forward.
