Since 2023, he hasn’t let go of the <\/span>Best Acquisition Salesperson<\/b> award, and in 2024,<\/span>\u00a0he added the\u00a0Fastest-Growing<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Salesperson of the Year<\/b> award. Would you expect someone fueled by five espressos a day? Think again. Adam has never had a cup of coffee in his life, and his recipe for success is far more interesting than caffeine.<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Adam, let\u2019s start with your beginnings. You joined SWIDA<\/a> with no experience in logistics. What was it like?<\/b><\/span><\/h5>\n

It wasn\u2019t easy at the start. I had no prior experience in sales or logistics, so I had to learn the basics of trade while getting up to speed on the logistics industry at the same time. It was a lot to handle at first! Luckily, I had colleagues who helped me from day one. What started as a challenge quickly became exciting, and those first small successes really pushed me to carry on.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. In 2023, you became the top acquisition salesperson, and you\u2019ve held that spot for three years now. Do you have a secret recipe for staying at the top?<\/b><\/h5>\n

Honestly, I\u2019m not sure! ? I\u2019d say it\u2019s a mix of many factors. I don\u2019t think there\u2019s a single blueprint for success, but showing up every day, being open to trying new things, and learning from more experienced colleagues has made a big difference for me. And honestly, sometimes it\u2019s just about timing and a bit of luck.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Acquisition is considered one of the toughest parts of sales. What do you enjoy most about constantly looking for new clients?<\/h5>\n

I enjoy the challenge and the dynamics. It constantly pushes me out of my comfort zone. Every client is different and requires a unique approach. Sometimes you learn the hard way, which can be uncomfortable, but that\u2019s when you grow the most. The moment a deal turns into a successful cooperation and the client is happy\u2014that\u2019s what makes it all worth it.<\/p>\n

4. 2024 was a special year for you. Besides being the top salesperson, you also became the “Fastest Growing Salesperson.” What exactly does that mean in your team?<\/h5>\n

Basically, it\u2019s about productivity and progress. If your improvement and growth are the most significant among all your colleagues compared to the previous year, you receive this award. It’s a great motivation to keep moving forward.<\/p>\n

5. Sales is often about rejection. What motivates you to pick up the phone and try again when things don\u2019t go as planned?<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/h5>\n

Once you accept that rejection is simply part of the job, it becomes much easier. We\u2019re all human, and we all have ups and downs. Being able to take a step back and not take things personally helps me refocus. Lately, I\u2019ve been trying to appreciate even the small achievements that usually go unnoticed. It helps me stay focused on the positives. I\u2019ll let you know if it\u2019s working! ?<\/p>\n

6. Do you have a morning ritual to start your day?<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/h5>\n

Usually, my 2-year-old son sets the tone for my morning! ? But when I do find a moment for myself, meditation really helps me start the day on the right note.<\/p>\n

7. What is the most important thing for you here at SWIDA?<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/h5>\n

The work environment and the people I share the office with. Having the right colleagues and a supportive manager who has your back makes a massive difference. I\u2019m fortunate to have both, and I don\u2019t take it for granted.<\/p>\n

8. Is there something about you that your colleagues might not know?<\/h5>\n

I\u2019ve been playing the drums for almost 20 years. It\u2019s my favourite way to relax and step away from the work world for a while. Oh, and one more thing-I\u2019ve never had a cup of coffee in my life!<\/p>\n
